“Thank you for a friendship so warm and zealous, bringing beauty to the common good…”
The lyrics of the song resounded as a thanksgiving to God and to everyone from nearly 190 children in Nậm Pồ, coming from the villages of Huổi Thủng 1, Nậm Chẩn, Nacosa 1, and Nacosa 3.

After a month of study and play, on the morning of Friday, June 27, 2025, dressed in the traditional Hmoob attire of their villages, the children gathered for the closing ceremony of their summer course. The event was graced by the warm and caring presence of priests and brothers from the Dioceses of Bùi Chu and Long Xuyên who had come to visit and assist during the summer; the Sisters of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians in the Nậm Pồ community; the parish council members; and volunteers.
It was a month overflowing with love, where the children enjoyed a meaningful summer through learning activities, games, and sports competitions. This full and beautiful summer has now come to an end. It is our hope that the children will always keep their pure smiles and innocent joy, striving in their lives and studies to become good people who will serve their villages and others.
The spirit of gratitude continued into the Thanksgiving Mass, celebrated with devotion and simplicity by Fr. Dominic Ngô Văn Giang from the Diocese of Bùi Chu. In his sharing, he encouraged the children to keep expressing their gratitude to God and to others as they return to their families.
“All is grace” — In this spirit of thanksgiving for all they had received, the children decorated hearts made from wildflowers and expressed their gratitude through heartfelt performances. In their simplicity and sincerity, they wove together the colors of grateful hearts.

After the Mass, a loving meal prepared by everyone awaited the children, along with gifts to encourage them to love more and study harder each day.
