Dear: Benefactors near and far, Organizations, Agencies, Enterprises, Generous Hearts.
Warmest greetings to you with trust and affection!
The northwestern Lao Cai region is home to many H’mong ethnic people. Their lives are still full of difficulties after having to face Typhoon Yagi last year, especially the children.
Many children lack food and clothing, have to drop out of school early (according to the latest statistics of Lao Cai Province, there are currently 147,000 young people who have dropped out of school), and grow up in a vicious cycle of poverty. With the concern of Saint John Bosco – the common father of poor youth, we wish to build the “Charity Center Of Don Bosco” in Lao Cai to be a common home for 200 poor H’Mong boys and girls.
This will be the place where children can:
- Have a stable place to live, be nurtured and cared for.
- Be educated, trained in humanity and life skills.
- Live in love, faith, and a brighter future.
However, this construction project is beyond our capacity. Therefore, we sincerely call for the cooperation of benefactors, organizations, and generous hearts to contribute to the construction of the Charity Center Of Don Bosco – Lao Cai. Every contribution, big or small, is a seed of love sown into the future of children in the highlands.
We believe that: “Each brick, each hand, each heart will become the foundation of a loving home for poor H’mong children.”
May God, through the intercession of Mary Help of Christians and Saint John Bosco, bless you and your families abundantly.
Any help for poor H’Mong children please send to:
